THE RIGHT STEPS TO A CLIA LICENSE
In the U.S., laboratory testing related to human samples falls under the regulations of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The program is administered through the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), which covers approximately 200,000 facilities.
CLIA seeks to ensure quality by governing lab processes and procedures. Any lab that intends to receive reimbursement for Medicare or Medicaid billings must be properly certified through CLIA. Therefore, in order to bill for the RPS Adeno Detector, medical facilities need a CLIA license and we are happy to guide you through the process.
Click here for the CLIA application or to visit the CMS website. You may also call toll-free 1-877-921-0080, ext. 108 to speak live with an RPS expert on the CLIA application process.
